Network IT - Director & Principal Network Technician

Current role
I am truly committed to providing comprehensive computer support to our client base. This support includes specification, in consultation with the customer of everything to do with their computer network through to cabling, PC setup & networking, server design and implementation. I troubleshoot by phone, remotely and onsite. Typically I am the first and last person called upon by our customers to keep their computers running smoothly and put them back into operation.

Background
Solved IT Pty Ltd was founded by me on 27/6/00 after having worked in similar roles within the IT department of The University of Sydney. Since leaving University I have also worked within banking, technical sales and as an electronics technician.

Qualifications
MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
Advanced Diploma of Electrical Technology from Sydney TAFE
Bachelor of Economics from University of Sydney.

Who Else am I?
I love bike riding and getting out into the world. I regularly meditate. I enjoy reading about all sorts of matters especially those which are business or technical related.

Current Role
As a Business Systems Consultant, I work with clients to identify unproductive functions within their business.  This is where a business system can create or improve the smooth business operations we all want.  Identifying the need is the first step.  The real value add is in my ability to facilitate focussed meetings with the key staff involved to reach agreement and a united focus amongst the team.  My breadth of operations experience across many industries enables me to easily identify operational bottle-necks and recommend solutions and/or software.  The final key to success is my tenacity and powerful lateral thinking which provides a solid platform for outstanding implementation support.  I am also responsible for managing Business Planning & Development, Finance & Accounts, Marketing & Client Service Administration within Solved IToperations.

I am a passionate woman who is strong, honest and truly committed to "making a difference" in whatever way I can.  I enjoy all sorts of hobbies, from restoring old furniture, nights out at the ballet, musical spectaculars, rainy days in front of the fire with a good book or movie, daily morning moccachino, bike riding, camping, horse riding and travelling (either getting about and seeing the sights of the world, or sitting back in my armchair watching travel shows wishing I was there).
